SBH Alumni Spotlight
Meet South Belt Houston Chapter Alumni Camille Black. She is the loving daughter of Associate Pearl Black. Upon graduating from Bellaire High School in 2014, Camille moved to Atlanta, Georgia to begin her undergraduate studies at the illustrious Spelman College. During her 4-year matriculation at Spelman, Camille made lifelong friendships, interned with the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC), and graduated Cum Laude with a degree in Economics in 2018. She went on to accept a full-time role as a Marketing Analyst with one of the largest consumer packaged goods companies, Newell Brands, in Atlanta, Georgia.
In early 2020 Camille decided to obtain her Georgia Real Estate license as an early start to becoming an entrepreneur just like her admirable parents. Being the hard-working multi-tasker that her parents raised her to be, Camille was promoted to Associate at Newell Brands focusing on Sales Strategy & Operations for brands such as Sharpie, PaperMate, Elmer’s Glue, Dymo Labeling, and Prismacolor.
Despite her busy schedule, Camille enjoys spending time with family and friends, cooking, traveling, and playing soccer. She is forever grateful to Jack & Jill of America, Inc. for all of the personal, educational and technical skills she developed over the 13 years of involvement in the South Belt Houston Chapter. She remains close friends with many of SBH chapter alumni but has also made new friends from all over the nation that are also Jack & Jill alumni! Camille currently lives in Atlanta where she remains an Associate at Newell Brands while simultaneously balancing her real estate career. She visits home often to spend time with her loving parents and brother, Tony Sr., Pearl and Tony Jr., whom still reside in the great city of Houston, Texas.
